About me
I am a native English translator with over 20 years of experience in technical communication and international projects. Since 2015, I have worked as a freelance translator specialising in technical translation from German and Spanish into English, with a particular focus on machinery, plant engineering, and technical documentation.
I support companies with the translation of operating instructions, technical manuals, as well as safety and maintenance documentation. My work is characterised by high terminological accuracy, a structured understanding of complex technical subject matter, and clear, user-oriented technical English.
In addition to my translation work, I bring extensive hands-on experience in engineering project management and international technical projects. In previous roles as a Project Manager and international training and project consultant, I supported and coordinated complex technical projects in multinational environments, including Germany, Spain, the United States, Australia, Japan, South Africa, Botswana, and Mexico.
I also bring extensive experience translating medical, scientific, and other regulated content. This background strengthens my expertise in compliance, liability-relevant language, and linguistic precision – competencies that are equally critical in high-quality technical documentation.
